Grand Hotel Melbourne

I had a lovely stay at the Grand Hotel Melbourne, with stunning city views from my suite that made the experience special. One nice moment was chatting with Denis, the General Manager, who genuinely cared about our comfort. I appreciated the thoughtful touch of having lots of power outlets in the room—so handy for charging our devices! The quiet atmosphere allowed for relaxation after a day exploring the city.

The hotel was very luxurious and an excellent price when booking on line. I will definately stay at your hotel again and recoment it to my friends and family. I still cant believe how beautiful our room was. My wife and I have stayed in nice places before but this was by far the best.

Clean and wonderful place with really good staff in assisting me. Quiet atmosphere, tasty breakfast with bacon and excellent coffee.

Wi-Fi was a bit slow.

Ideal Business Stay at Grand Hotel Melbourne

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Grand Hotel Melbourne for a business trip, and it was an excellent choice by my director. The hotel’s history and architecture are stunning, with high ceilings and elegant decor that enhance the atmosphere. I appreciated the hotel’s guest facilities, especially the indoor heated pool and spa pool; after a long day of meetings, it was a relaxing treat. The fitness centre was well-equipped, allowing me to maintain my workout routine with diverse equipment like treadmills, exercise bikes, and weights. the on-site bar and restaurant offered a cozy space for unwinding after work, although it’s wise to check the hours in advance. The warm, friendly reception staff were helpful, making my stay all the more enjoyable. I would definitely choose to stay here again.

Everything was superb.

We requested a quiet room and we got a quiet room, the rooms were beautiful, the bed divine and it felt luxurious. A wonderful way to spend my husbands birthday, made it a very special occasion.

No dinner menu found only room service menu. Need to include more information in there hotel information folder, maybe some information on getting around, etc.

Had a pleasant stay, comfortable and clean room, will stay there again.

Although we enjoyed our stay, the only negative we found was having to pay for the room in full nearly two months before we actually stayed. Would have thought a deposit sufficient at the time.

the room was spacious and stylish, offering great value. The location is perfect, just a short walk from transport and the staff were cute, making me feel right at home.

Menu for breakfast could include fresh cream options.

I thoroughly enjoyed the place, everything was really good. The restaurant was modest for breakfast and dinner here, I had delicious dishes. A balcony, a TV area, and a kitchenette worked well. The pool was very clean and I had cool drinks in the downstairs bar. Plus, private parking was definitely a highlight. No reason to complain, the hotel met what was needed🙂

The staff were extremely helpful,courteous and approachable.

The thoughtful handwritten welcome card and chocolates made me feel special and appreciated upon my arrival. It was comforting to have a manager like Denis available to assist with any needs during my stay.

Historical building, spacious room and good location. This is not a luxurious hotel but I enjoyed the historical atomosphere. Also, given the price, the room is huge and my room has a small kitchen. Finally, location is very good. Only a minutes walk away from the Southern Cross Station where the airport bus arrives.

Sometimes we had to use service lift as the customer lift was not working. Room facility is bit old.

Satisfactory breakfast, wonderful views, wonderful location short walk to Close to the Southern Cross Station, extremely quiet and outlet shopping. Excellent value for money, no complaints. Well priced units and extra attentive staff in assisting me. Comfy bed, well enough space, complimentary WiFi and it's own balcony in the room...

Really good service from Denis!

The hotel's pools were practically unusable, and no one seemed to care when I sought help. I was definitely expecting preferential treatment given the price I paid, but the staff didn't even offer a complimentary snack. The sliding glass door to the balcony was a workout! You'd think that's a pretty basic fix, right?

The position was fantastic!

Breakfast was included however the lady in the restaurant kinda made us feel a burden when asking, advised the room was full and to sit in bar lounge then never came back!! Thankfully someone else did tho and the food was great!
